Student of the Month: Jasmine Threadgill

Jasmine Threadgill is a student who has demonstrated remarkable dedication to her education and her craft. Read on to learn about Jasmine and her time with Blake Austin Beauty College.
About Jasmine
When it comes to beauty, Jasmine is passionate about skincare and working with clients to achieve their skincare goals, and finds it very satisfying.
“My area of specialty is facials,” said Jasmine “I love bringing out the inner glow in my clients. I want my clients to feel beautiful without needing to apply makeup” she said.
During her time at Blake Austin, Jasmine has grown fond of skincare and facial treatments but she also had a lot of fun working on one assignment in particular.
“The Business fundamentals Project was my absolute favorite, because I want to own a spa someday.” Jasmine said “this project gave me the opportunity to see how much it would cost to open a treatment room and to understand the fundamentals of what I need to start my own business.”
Jasmine said that it’s her passion and commitment that sets her apart from other professionals, not just her skills.
“I greet my clients with a warm smile, and I like to make sure that they know I truly care about helping them” said Jasmine.
Aside from setting a tone of comfort and openness with her clients, Jasmine also like to ask about what they love and what they would love to change to keep the tone of conversation positive.

There are a variety of reasons to attend Blake Austin Beauty College, and we wanted to know what helped Jasmine to make her decision.
“I choose Blake Austin College because of the professional setting” said Jasmine, “and the faculty is truly amazing, they are warm and welcoming. Based on the equipment alone you can tell that this school wants their students to succeed in the business they are pursuing,” Jasmine concluded.
Jasmine said that the becoming an Esthetician has been a long-time dream of hers, and the decision to pursue it has been the best decision ever.
“Everyday that I step into Blake Austin I feel that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be” said Jasmine
After school Jasmine has plan to continue her beauty education and will take extra classes to learn more about chemical peels, eyelash extensions, and spray tanning.
“I would love to work in a day spa that offers facials, waxing and makeup application” said Jasmine.
Jasmine is scheduled to graduate on June 4th, 2016 so book an appointment with her while she is still available on campus!
